Royal Hotel - Nimes

great shower, good location, small room.

The Royal Hotel has an excellent location near iconic sights. The staff were particularly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort . The hotel's artistic decor added a charming touch to the experience.

Dining was served with a view of the Maison Carrée, and breakfast was a delight, even with my allergies! I discovered a lovely local gem, La Bodeguita, for tapas just around the corner.

The shower screen had a gap, but not enough to ruin my vibe. I wish I'd got a heads-up about the Faria festival and the outdoor bar setup, as the upbeat music went until 2am.

I loved the unique art in the common areas and the super comfy bed in my room. Relaxing by the café with a great view and enjoying the nice little garden area really added to the chill vibes.

Strong Wi-Fi but small rooms without coffee facilities. Staff was helpful with everything.

My room was comfy and large, with great wi-fi. The location is perfect for exploring nearby sights like the maison carrée and arènes. I also loved the unique decor and artistic vibe throughout the hotel.

Charming atmosphere, spacious room, with a good coffee shop that offers a wonderful breakfast selection and close proximity to public transportation options for easy city exploration.

The superior double room was a good size with decent air conditioning, and the location was fantastic for exploring nearby sites. The breakfast was notably good and we enjoyed it outdoors. The bathroom cleanliness was questionable, and the absence of a refrigerator or complimentary water was disappointing. The nighttime closure of the restaurant/bar contributed to a lack of atmosphere .

Great choice for a weekend trip in Nimes with excellent value for money. The art vibe in the lobby really stood out and made it feel special. Make sure to grab a parking pass early to avoid extra walking later.
